Es ist so etwas wie eine Fortbildung zum Thema Personal Learning Environment (PLE), gleichzeitig ist es aber auch ein kanadisches Forschungsprojekt der drei Einrichtungen National Research Council of Canada, Technology Enhanced Knowledge Research Institute at Athabasca University und University of Prince Edward Island.

Dieser »course« ist ist ein Weiterbildungsprojekt, das sich in seiner didaktischen Konzeption auf den Konnektivismus stützt. Ganz nebenbei ist dieser Kurs auch Teil eines kanadischen Forschungsprojekts zu Personal Learning Environments.

Wiki als PLE
Gespeichert von Tim Schlotfeldt am Mi, 2007-08-01 14:10Wiki statt Lernplattform war hier ja schonmal Thema. Jay Cross hat sich nach seinem Umzug auf ein Wiki-System dazu auch seine Gedanken gemacht:
Now that my own interface has migrated to a wiki, it’s so easy to change, I tweak it several times a week. As the world becomes more complex, future citizens may log a lot of time adding new capabilities to their PLEs and purging obsolete ones.
So ähnlich benutze ich mein(e) Wikis übrigens auch.
